level 1: extension of your stock of vocabulary, making up dialogues, role plays of familiar everyday life situations, narrating and reporting

level 2: this level requires the basic skills of level one

contents: personal contacts and small talk, presenting – arguing – discussing, communication at work, linguistic training, doing phone calls at work

schedule: twice a week, Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

German economic terminology

German skills on an intermediate level are required for this course.

Target groups are

1. adults who want to use German in business matters
2. foreign executives and trainees in commerce and industry
3. adults who study economy at universities, colleges or similar institutions and who want to acquire additional qualifications.

Diploma in German economic terminology

This course forms the ideal preparation for the Austrian Language Diploma "Diplom Wirtschaftssprache Deutsch" that can be acquired at our institute (Mastery level C2).

Contents:

1. improvement of proficiency in German economic terminology
2. newspaper articles and texts of specific companies, business correspondence for telephoning, presenting, negotiating and arguing

Schedule: twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday from 7 pm to 9 pm

Duration: 10 weeks (20 evening gatherings)
